Applicants, or those referred to Habitat Cabarrus, do not need to have been deployed during their service. This offer applies to active duty, Reserves, National Guard or Active Guard Reserve. In some cases, widows or widowers of veterans may be eligible for Habitat Cabarrus’ Veterans Services.

Critical Home Repairs

Habitat Cabarrus Critical Home Repair program addresses critical needs such as sagging floors, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, and more.

Habitat Cabarrus builds and sells homes with an affordable mortgage to those who qualify. If you are or know of, a veteran looking to own a home and currently have a need for housing (cannot currently own a home), please contact us.

Qualified veterans or active service members do not have to attend a standard orientation session but need to schedule an in-office orientation. They will also have their application fee waived and will be fast-tracked through the approval process if at all possible.
