ways to give
Matching Gifts
Many employers will match tax-deductible charitable contributions made by their employees, retirees and employees’ spouses. Contact your company’s HR department for specific matching gift options. If you have completed a matching gift form, please include it with your gift and mail it to Habitat Cabarrus at 8 Church Street S, Suite 101 Concord, NC 28025 or email it to heather@habitatcabarrus.org.
Memorial/Honor Gifts
Habitat Cabarrus provides donor opportunities to make honorarium and memorial gifts, and will send to the individual of your choice a specially designed notification card. You may indicate Honor or Memorial Gifts on your donation form.

Construction In-Kind Donations
Donations of new building materials can be made to Habitat Cabarrus’ construction initiatives. Donations can also be made to Habitat Cabarrus in the form of professional services required on construction sites, such as masonry, HVAC installation, electrical wiring, plumbing and more.

ReStore Donations
When you donate new or gently-used items to a Habitat Cabarrus ReStore, you’re making affordable home ownership a reality, and you’re also keeping perfectly usable items from needlessly going to waste in a landfill. Donations to the ReStore are tax-deductible.

Payroll Deductions
Many private employers, and federal, state, and local governments offer payroll deductions to employees. Payroll deduction is an employer-sponsored program that lets you to support Habitat Cabarrus’ mission with a tax-deductible donation given directly from your paycheck. Payroll deduction is one of the simplest and most cost-effective ways to give, but there may be other options available.

Cars for Homes
Car donations are another way to support Habitat Cabarrus’ mission. When you make a donation to Cars for Homes, you help Habitat Cabarrus build and repair homes in your own community for families in need.
The car donation process is quick and easy. You can donate online or call toll-free to 1.877.277.4344. If you donate an automobile or other vehicles, you may be eligible for a tax deduction.
