Prologis Employees Volunteer With Habitat Cabarrus During Company’s Seventh Global Day of Service
Concord, NC (May 17, 2019) – Employees from Prologis, a global logistics real estate company, volunteered with Habitat Cabarrus last month in the Magnolia Crossing neighborhood in Concord, NC, in celebration of IMPACT DAY, the company’s seventh annual day of service.
The employees joined the efforts of their colleagues in seven countries in Europe, Asia and the Americas who were volunteering with Habitat in 16 communities around the world to help families improve their living conditions through decent, affordable shelter.
Habitat Cabarrus Resource Development Director, Kimberly Jones, stated that “Habitat Cabarrus is so fortunate to have the Prologis team onsite today to help build a new Habitat home. Without volunteer groups like Prologis, Habitat Cabarrus would not be able to support its mission of ensuring that everyone in Cabarrus County has a decent and affordable place to live.”
Overall, nearly 1,600 Prologis team members worked with 49 organizations in 19 countries on projects that support education, human welfare and the environment, including include reforestation in the Americas, food preparation for refugees in Europe and classroom renovation in Asia.
